NOTE: Tino Patina and Trudy Carbajal both members of The SunnyValley Grange, volunteer their time to
help the Officers of The SunnyValley Grange, and assist in the management of the rental of the hall. The
guidelines and rules listed below have been dictated by the Officers of The SunnyValley Grange, The
Yakima County Fire Marshal, and The Washington State Liquor Control Board. All monies and fees
collected go directly to The SunnyValley Grange Treasurer.

HALL RENTAL

Deposit will secure the date. A four (4) week notice is required for cancellation in order to receive  
a full deposit refund (hardship cases may be given consideration).
Deposit will be refunded once the renter has thoroughly cleaned the hall, removed all decorations,
musical and video equipment from the premises, and the hall is found to be free of any damage.
If damage has occurred, it will have to be accessed before deposit (if any) can be refunded.


Liquor consumption during event
If you plan to include liquor during your event, you must comply with the guidelines set by The
Washington State Liquor Control Board.
You must obtain a Banquet Permit from any State of Washington Liquor Store, such as The Funny
Farm in Sunnyside, at least 3 days prior to the event, at a cost of $10.00.
Alcohol may be consumed for a period of four (4) hours during the event, inside the premises, and
only while security officers are present. Without exception, no person under 21 years of age shall
be permitted to drink alcohol at any time during the event.


Security                                                                   $250.00
Security is necessary and required for liquor consumption for your event. The SunnyValley Grange
requires that you must provide security with two (2) deputies from the Yakima County Sheriff
Department, at a cost of $125.00 per officer for a four (4) hour shift. Deputies must be paid in full,
and in cash at the beginning of their shift. If for some reason the event is terminated, no portion of
the fee will be refunded.

Notice: failure to obtain banquet permit, or make security arrangements will absolutely void any
liquor on site during your event.

Hourly Rental                                                           $50.00 per hour

Deposit                                                                       $100.00  
Your deposit will be held during your event to ensure that you do not overextend the time allowed,
and to ensure that no damage is done to the hall during the event. Your deosit shall be returned
opon inspection of the hall at the end of the event, and opon return of the key.

Rental
The hall may be rented on an hourly basis for occasions such as birthday parties, baby showers
etc. Ablsolutely and without exception,
liquor consuption will not be permited when the hall is
rented in this manner.

Key
The key will be available on the same day and at the beginning of the alloted time of said event.
You will be given an hour for cleanup at the end of your event and will be expected to return the key
at that time.
