MISSION STATEMENT; Exclusive for charitable and educational purposes. This
Association shall establish a music center open to the general public of the Pacific Northwest
to learn the TEJANO Culture and to foster an appreciation of history on the different styles of
Tejano Music, through lectures, seminars, study groups, exhibits, public preformances and all
other means.
Pacific Northwest Tejano Music Association, (PNTMA) was formed by a group of individuals
who believe in the preservation of Tejano Culture and it's unique Music. PNTMA is supported
by many individuals and groups, which includes Washington State Migrant Council and it's
CEO Mr. Carlos Diaz.
PNTMA filed it's ARTICLES of INCORPORATION and received Certification by the State of
Washington on December 9, 2002.
PNTMA is governed by it's Executive Committee, and it's Board of Directors, and meets
regularly at least once a month.
